Northern Nevada Real Estate Data

Knowing how many new housing units are planned for a neighborhood is a critical factor in planning for new businesses and services.

Our databases of planned, approved, and under construction subdivisions in the Northern Nevada area include the following data for each project:
  • Project name and location, including the actual "footprint";
  • Type of community (single or multi family, condo, or senior facility);
  • Total number of units tentatively planned for the subdivision;
  • Total number of planned units with final approval for construction;
  • Total number of final-mapped units that have closed escrow;
  • Total number of planned units remaining to be constructed;
  • Number of finshed units in standing inventory awaiting sale (Washoe County only).

Standard Housing Report

The Standard Housing Report for each Northern Nevada area comes with a color map utilizing aerial photography showing the footprint of each subdivision in the market area as well as a data sheet containing the aforementioned data variables for each subdivision.  This data is updated each quarter and is available for the Reno-Sparks area,  Dayton Valley, and Fernley, and annually for the Carson City area.  The Standard Housing Reports are available for purchase each quarter, or you can save $150 and order an annual subscription of 4 issues. These maps are plotted on high quality stock and are sized 2'x3' so you can see the areas in greater detail.

Pricing for the Standard Housing Report is as follows:
  • Greater Reno-Sparks area        $250 each quarter            $850 annual subscription
  • Carson City                                                                      $150 annual subscription
  • Dayton/HWY50 Corridor          $125/quarter                    $350 annual subscription
  • City of Fernley                          $125/quarter                    $350 annual subscription

New Residential Subdivision and Market Activity Report

If you're interested in taking a regional look at the Truckee Meadows area, we also have a more comprehensive housing report available that uses the housing data mentioned above and takes it one step further.  In the New Residential Subdivision and Market Activity Report, the Reno-Sparks area is divided up into 9 distinct subregions and all aspects of the housing market are analyzed:
  • the current stock of approved/unbuilt units,
  • the location and size of vacant parcels,
  • the estimated buildout and absorption of the planned units,
  • a 10-year population forecast,
  • the current demographic profile of each subregion,
  • and the current average daytime employment by industry for each subregion.
